Our Purpose

The Highland Park Arts Commission provides residents and community members of Highland Park, New Jersey with access to cultural programming that engages their senses and encourages them to explore their creative selves. Such programs include, but are not limited to, dance, theatre, music, visual arts, poetry, spoken word, culinary arts, fashion design, paper arts, woodworking and inter-disciplinary art forms. Of particular interest to the Arts Commission is both the inclusion of diverse cultural programming and the training of students (of any age) in these art forms.

The Arts Commission is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive community and welcomes the participation of people from all backgrounds.

The Arts Commission is made up of local artisans.
Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month.
