We are constantly seeking local artists.
Here is a list of current and upcoming projects, if you would like to participate or provide support, please contact us!
The Virtual Art Gallery
The Highland Park Arts Commission has rallied artists in-town and in nearby communities to contribute original works to be featured in Highland Park’s Virtual Art Gallery. These are very challenging times, and the Commission’s goal is to provide a welcome distraction for community members who need a reprieve from constant thinking and talking about the ongoing public health crisis.

Additional exhibits will be added every 10-14 days. If you are an artist interested in displaying your work, you can contact the Arts Commission by completing the form at the bottom of the page.
Windows of Understanding
This project is a collaboration between Highland Park, New Brunswick, and the Mason Gross School of the Arts. It is an initiative that promotes awareness and compassion around a vast array of social justice issues being addressed in our communities through original art displays in storefronts and public spaces city-wide.
Topics include: Trauma, Immigration, Public Health, Food Insecurity, Youth Engagement & Climate Change.
We are currently seeking creative and compassionate Artist Facilitators. Each artist will be paired with a local organization working in social or environmental justice based on the issues they care about. An honorarium will be provided to each artist for their work, as well as a stipend for art materials to support their window intervention. All participating artists will attend an Artist Facilitator training that will cover project goals and community- based art practices.
Artist pairings will be made in July; a detailed timeline will be provided to all participants.
