Make a difference, chalk a square!
The Highland Park Arts Commission and the Adult Substance Abuse Program are seeking volunteer artists, young & old, beginners or pros, to make chalk art for a worthy cause: helping people stay clean of drugs & alcohol, find jobs and get healthy!
20 6×6 sponsored squares will be assigned to artists, materials will be provided to raise funds for the Adult Substance Abuse Program (ASAP). Individual & business donors will sponsor each square.
The Chalk Art Festival will be held Wednesday, August 2, 2017, 5-9pm on S. 3rd Ave between Raritan Ave. and Magnolia St. The event will be held simultaneously with National Night Out, compliments of the Highland Park Police. This Chalk Art Festival is sponsored by the Highland Park Arts Commission and ASAP Rehabilitation Program.
Contact Arts Commissioner John Marron at firstname.lastname@example.org or (732)266-3034 to register as a participating artist or inquire about sponsorship of squares.
